Project K Is Now Kalki 2898 AD: Deepika Padukone-Prabhas Starrer Takes You To A Futuristic World

One of the most anticipated movies, Project K, has garnered enough and more eyeballs from across the globe. The Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer becomes the first ever Indian movie to debut at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2023. After the movie premiered on the first day of SDCC, the trailer left fans unimpressed. This urged the makers to replace the old one with a newer version, which also means the movie has a new name now.
Project K is directed by Nag Ashwin and will see a pan-India release. Along with its teaser, the makers also revealed Project K`s full title and release date. The movie will take you to a futuristic world where truth triumphs over evil.
Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Rana Daggubati are present at San Diego Comic-Con in California. Reports suggest Deepika won`t be a part of it. This comes amid the ongoing strike by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA). The actress is a vital member of the federation.

Nag Ashwin`s Kalki 2898 AD becomes the first Indian movie to debut at the SDCC. The billboard for Project K was displayed at Times Square in New York with “First glimpse on July 20” written on it. Several photos of Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Rana Daggubati being all touristy in the US were doing the rounds on the internet.
Kalki 2898 AD will see Haasan as an antagonist. The Vikram actor opened up about playing a villain in the upcoming pan-Indian release. He said, "The reason I accepted this film is because I come from analogous cinema. Without a negative, there`s no positive. So, a negative role is an important role in a film."
The movie features Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. Project K will release in 2024 in cinemas near you.
