It`s a wrap for the first installment of Nitesh Tiwari`s magnum opus, `Ramayana`. The director called a final "cut" late Monday night, concluding the shoot for one of Bollywood`s most anticipated films. The atmosphere on set was described as “emotional and electric,” with lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey sharing a tight hug after filming their last scene.
After years of speculation, buzz, and meticulous production, the journey of `Ramayana: Part 1` has reached a significant milestone. The wrap was marked by a celebration on set, where director Nitesh Tiwari and his leading men, Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey, who portray Lord Ram and Laxmana respectively, addressed the cast and crew.

The epic saga is planned as a two-part release, with `Ramayana – Part 1` scheduled to hit theatres around Diwali 2026, and Part 2 to follow on Diwali 2027.
