Ranbir Kapoor at Ramayana`s Last Shoot Day
It`s a wrap for the first installment of Nitesh Tiwari`s magnum opus, `Ramayana`. The director called a final "cut" late Monday night, concluding the shoot for one of Bollywood`s most anticipated films. The atmosphere on set was described as “emotional and electric,” with lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey sharing a tight hug after filming their last scene.
After years of speculation, buzz, and meticulous production, the journey of `Ramayana: Part 1` has reached a significant milestone. The wrap was marked by a celebration on set, where director Nitesh Tiwari and his leading men, Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey, who portray Lord Ram and Laxmana respectively, addressed the cast and crew.
He acknowledged his co-stars, including Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Ravi Dubey, for their contributions to this epic project. Ranbir concluded by admitting the difficulty of giving speeches when "something so massive comes to an end."

With the shoot for the first part complete, anticipation is soaring. While several photos have leaked from the sets, an official first look is eagerly awaited, with reports suggesting a poster announcement could drop as early as July 3.
Following the wrap, Ranbir Kapoor was seen jetting off from Mumbai with his wife, Alia Bhatt, and daughter, Raha Kapoor, for a quiet summer vacation. Besides `Ramayana`, Ranbir is also slated to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’.
The epic saga is planned as a two-part release, with `Ramayana – Part 1` scheduled to hit theatres around Diwali 2026, and Part 2 to follow on Diwali 2027.
