Ranveer Singh Decodes His Bollywood Journey, Says Alauddin Khilji Made Him An Aggressive Person

Apart from his maddening energy and unstoppable vibes, Ranveer Singh is known for some spectacular performances that have redefined Bollywood and the way people perceive Hindi movies. Be it, Bittoo Sharma, in Band Baaja Baarat or Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat, the amount of dedication this man pours in is unbelievable. It is safe to say Ranveer has revolutionized and set high standards for the actors to deliver better performances to compete with him. Recently, the actor attended The Marrakech Film Festival and it wasn`t his style that stole the show.
At The Marrakech Film Festival, Ranveer Singh bagged the Etoile d`Or Award and took it to Instagram to share the celebrations with his fans. While talking about his Bollywood journey, he decoded all the iconic characters he has played and how they have proven to be life-altering experiences for him. He shared some untold stories behind his most loved characters.
Recalling his experience of auditioning for Zoya Akhtar`s Gully Boy, he remembers how a rap bagged him the role of Murad Ahmed. Not every role that Ranveer has portrayed was light-hearted and boy-next-door. Speaking of negative roles, he called Alauddin Khilji one of the most brutal, most ruthless characters he ever let his mind dive into. Sharing his experience of shooting and becoming Khilji, the process wasn`t easy for him. Ranveer became a rather aggressive person as he let the character and the process control his mind.
Ranveer attended The Marrakech Film Festival with his wife Deepika Padukone and the two looked gorgeous. Ranveer carried off his unique style like a boss and it was fun seeing him slay amidst all the international stars.
On The Work Front
Ranveer Singh was last seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar alongside Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah. He will be seen next in Rohit Shetty`s Cirkus, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. He also has Karan Johar`s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani with Alia Bhatt.
