The internet was shaking and quaking after Ranveer Singh dropped out of Farhan Akhtar`s Don 3. A larger-than-life movie announcement took social media by storm, with many questioning him replacing Shah Rukh Khan.
While fans were excited to see Singh as the new Don, the actor walked away from the project and prioritised another project. This caused a fallout between the actor and the filmmaker.
Now, it seems all`s well between the two as the Dhurandhar actor has returned the signing amount for Don 3. He has also offered a stake in his upcoming film to Akhtar.

As per a report by Free Press Journal, “Ranveer has gracefully agreed to return his signing amount, which was reportedly around Rs 10 crore. To further compensate Excel, he has reportedly agreed to give them a ‘stake’ in his next film, tentatively being referred to as Pralaay.”

The source did not reveal the exact percentage of stake in Pralay offered to Farhan Akhtar because at this stage, everything from the budget to the cast is still work in progress.
“However, just the fact that Ranveer has shown so much grace is good enough to make him a fair player in the industry. Like they say in fairy tales, all is well that ends well,” the source added.

A notable dispute emerged between the Dil Dhadakne Do stars after Ranveer Singh walked out of the highly anticipated film.
A tiff between Ranveer and Farhan`s production house, Excel Entertainment, drew significant attention, with the Producers Guild of India`s intervention required to sort out the matter.

The core issue centred around Excel Entertainment demanding 40 crore from Singh in compensation for pre-production, scheduling delays, and other relatable expenses.
The Dhurandhar star reportedly left the project due to dissatisfaction with the script and the lack of a "bound script".
He also claimed that Farhan Akhtar reportedly prioritised other projects over Don 3, leaving Ranveer in three years of indecisiveness. The new cast of Don 3 is yet to be revealed.
