Now reports suggest the new look is likely for his next film with Karan Johar and Vishnu Vardhan. If reports are to be believed, Karan and Vishnu are working on a script that revolves around yet another amry backdrop project after Shershaah.
A source close to the development revealed interesting details.
“Vishnu Vardhan got a lot of love from the audience for Shershaah. Even the families of several army officials were impressed with his presentation of the Kargil War. And now, his next is also about the Indian Army and will star superstar Salman Khan as an Army officer," said the source.
This is probably the first time Salman Khan and Karan Johar will collaborate on a movie. But this wouldn`t be the first time the actor would take on an army officer`s role. Salman has headlined several movies where he has played the role of an armyman or a spy.
Bollywood films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Garv, and more saw him in the roles of a R&AW spy and a police officer.
In the Karan Johar-Salman Khan collaboration, the actor will soon start preparing for a lean physique to fit into an armyman`s character. The untitled project will go on floors in November 2023 and will see a theatrical release on December 24.
