Shahid Kapoor Confirms Farzi 2, Says "I`m Really Excited About It"

Shahid Kapoor confirms shooting for Farzi 2
Shahid Kapoor is currently soaring high on the success of O`Romeo. A Vishal Bhardwaj action thriller, the film released on February 13 and saw an exceptional response at the box office, with many calling it his `best performance yet`.
The movie marked the actor-filmmaker`s fourth collaboration. O`Romeo also saw Shahid and Triptii Dimri share the screen for the first time.
After seeing a successful response for his latest release, Shahid has revealed what`s next in his pipeline, and fans are already excited. He is now preparing to swap his rugged romantic avatar for counterfiet with Farzi 2.
Confirming the sequel of the much-loved series, Kapoor said, "I’ve already moved into something very different. I’m currently doing ‘Cocktail 2’, which is more in a light-hearted romantic space. In fact, I started shooting for Cocktail almost immediately after wrapping ‘O’Romeo’, and I was even shooting for it during the promotions. Now that ‘O’Romeo’ has been released, I will begin shooting for ‘Farzi 2’, which I’m really excited about. I enjoy switching worlds; it helps reset you as an actor.”

For the uninitiated, Cocktail 2 stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in leading roles. Moviegoers have high expectations from the film after the first part set high bars.
Apart from this, Kapoor is rumoured to collaborate with Jawan fame Atlee for a biopic based on Chhatrapati. Shivaji Maharaj. However, neither of them have confirmed the same yet.
He will also be headlining a mythological series titled ‘Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues’. Details for the same are awaited.
Coming back to Farzi, the 2023 release saw Shahid Kapoor in a different avatar. The series also featured Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Rashii Khanna, and Bhuvan Arora in prominent roles.
