South Indian Actors Aishwarya Arjun and Umapathy Ramaiah Tie the Knot in Intimate Ceremony
South Indian cinema witnessed a star wedding yesterday as Aishwarya Arjun, daughter of veteran actor Arjun Sarja, and Umapathy Ramaiah, son of popular comedian Thambi Ramaiah, tied the knot in a close-knit ceremony.
However, the guest list boasted some of the biggest names in South Indian cinema, including actors Karthi, Dhruva Sarja, Jagapathi Babu, Samuthirakani, Vijaykumar, and Senthil. Actor Vishal, who previously worked with Aishwarya in "Pattathu Yaanai" and alongside Arjun in "Irumbu Thirai," was also spotted amongst the attendees.
News of Aishwarya and Umapathy`s relationship first surfaced last year. The couple reportedly met while Umapathy participated as a contestant on the Tamil reality show Survivor. Interestingly, Arjun Sarja himself hosted the show, creating the platform for their connection.
Thambi Ramaiah, Umapathy`s father, confirmed this in a recent interview, stating, "Looks like sir [Arjun] was impressed with his attitude, and that`s how it all started." He further revealed that after a long search for a suitable bride for his son, Aishwarya`s name came up through their families` discussions.
