Sridevi 5th Death Anniversary: English Vinglish To Release In 6000 Screens Across China On THIS Date

Sridevi’s one of the best Bollywood films English Vinglish will be released in China on February 24 on the late actor’s fifth death anniversary. On February 24, 2018, the most loved superstar of Indian Cinema left her family, millions of fans, and the entire film industry in deep shock.
The Hindi film directed by Gauri Shinde was released in theatres in India on October 5, 2012. It had its world premiere at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, and you will be surprised to know it received a five-minute standing ovation. The movie will now be shown in 6,000 theatres on the Chinese mainland.
The Gauri Shinde directorial marked the legendary actress’s comeback to the big screen after 15 years and is finally getting released on over 6000 screens across China on her 5th death anniversary. It is going to be an unforgettable experience for Sridevi fans and all cinema lovers.

In a statement by Kumar Ahuja, COO of Eros International about the upcoming China release he said, "Indian films have gradually gained a foothold in the competitive Chinese movie market, the second biggest in the world. We have seen a rising demand for Indian films in China Mainland, especially the ones which are culturally driven. We are excited for the audience in China to marvel at this masterpiece showcasing one of the most memorable performances by the late Bollywood superstar Sridevi."
The movie featured Sridevi as a naive housewife who decides to take up English lessons in the US after being mocked by her husband and daughter. She gains confidence in herself after making friends in her new class and achieves her goal with determination and hard work.
