Srikanth Trailer Out: Rajkummar Rao As Visually Impaired Industrialist Is Here To Open Your Eyes
Think of an actor who can effortlessly blend in with a character, especially when it comes to headlining a biopic, think of Rajkummar Rao. He is back with yet another spectacular performance in his upcoming biopic, Srikanth. The film is based on the life of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla.
The trailer for Srikanth is out, and it is taking the internet by storm. The film gives the feel of an inspiring story about a visually challenged kid who grows up to become one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India.
The upcoming biopic also stars Jyotika, Sharad Kelkar, and Alaya F in prominent roles. Tushar Hiranandani, who directed the 2019 boickbuster Saand Ki Aamkh, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu, has helmed the film.
The movie sees Jyotika as his teacher and mentor, who guides him to determine his future and encourages him to follow his passion. She also helps Srikanth sue the Indian education system for not allowing him to study science as there isn`t enough infrastructure for the visually disabled.
Despite being rejected from all potential universities in India, Srikanth eventually gets accepted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, one of the world`s most renowned universities, after getting a scholarship.
