Supriya Pathak Said This While Talking About Stepson Shahid Kapoor

The relationship between a mother and son is always special, with deep vulnerabilities shared between the two. There is nothing like being in close proximity to mothers and their boundless love. Recently, veteran actress Supriya Pathak spoke at length about family values and also opened up about her relationship with stepson Shahid Kapoor.
Pathak described Shahid as her son and explained how they are a family who are always there for each other. She also said that they are close in terms of their dynamics. Along with that, she expressed how she is close with Shahid`s children. "His kids are my grandchildren. I share a great bond with both my grandchildren, and as a family, we all put efforts into strengthening our bonds." She said this during the promotion of her upcoming short film, Gangster Ganga. The film is set to premiere on October 4 at the Jio Cinema Film Festival. It is about a heartwarming bond between a grandmother and her grandchildren.

Making connections with the film`s narrative and her own life, Pathak made some resounding reflections on family. She expressed the importance of having loving grandparents who can add a lot of warmth to the lives of the kids. "They will always be the people you can fall back on", she says, and it is quite true. There is nothing like the bond between the grandparents and a growing child; it just helps add a lot of value to their lives.
Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur have been married since 1988 and have two kids together. Shahid Kapoor is the son of Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem, but the two later got separated. Pathak and Kapur are both great actors who have acted in many films throughout the years, showing their versatility in different roles. She is best known for the TV serial Khichdi, where she played the role of a Gujarati woman named Hansa. She also played the role when a film was made about the serial, which was released in 2010.
