The Dropping Box Office Collection Of Adipurush Post Satyaprem Ki Katha Release Will Shock You!

Directed by Om Raut, the film Adipurush is about to wrap up its run in theatres. Kriti Sanon and Prabhas starrer had been on a free fall ever since its first Monday and had recovered a little during the weekend.
What shocked us what its downfall below Rs 1 Crore as Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani`s romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha hat hit the theatres. Adipurush was enjoying a good grip at the box office ever since its release on June 16.
After having a wonderful weekend with an India collection of Rs 216 crore, the film lost its audience on its first Monday amid severe backlash for its treatment of Ramayana and controversial dialogues.

According to the sources, Adipurush collected an estimated Rs 90 Lakhs on the 14th day (Thursday). It stands at around Rs 291.98 Crore at the domestic box office in all languages. When Adipurush went below Rs 1 Crore on Thursday, the newly released film Satyaprem Ki Katha collected around Rs 9 Crore on day one.
The son of Ramayan director, Ramanand Sagar, Prem Sagar also slammed the film. In an interview, he told, "Manoj Muntashir is well-informed about Hinduism. I don`t understand how he even conceived such dialogues in the film. It might be a misjudgment that the younger generation would like it. But you can`t do this with the audience. Don`t say it is based on Valmiki Ramayan, give it any other name. Make it a fantasy film. But if you`re making Ramayan then you cannot hurt the sentiments. People watch this with devotion."
"I don`t even want to watch the film. Ravan was very knowledgeable and you are blackening the golden Lanka (sone ki Lanka), and his look with 5 heads up and 5 heads down," he added.
