Vikrant Massey On Quitting Films At The Sabarmati Report Parliamentary Screening

Vikrant Massey avoids questions about quitting movies
After taking the internet by storm, Vikrant Massey`s retirement continues to be one of the most trending topics on Google search. For the uninitiated, the 12th Fail star announced an indefinite break from the movies to focus on his personal life and embrace fatherhood.
This comes after Vikrant delivered back-to-back hits like 12th Fail, Sector 36, and The Sabarmati Report. With the political drama being his latest release, the actor shared the shocking news of him quitting the industry.
On the same day, a parliamentary screening was held for his film The Sabarmati Report with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and the entire star cast. While everyone enjoyed the experience, Massey avoided answering any questions about his controversial Instagram post.
This was Vikrant`s first public appearance after announcing his retirement. While he was more than happy to talk about watching the film with PM Modi and other MPs, the actor conveniently dodged questions about his decision to quit films.

When the reporters asked him about his Instagram post, he simply walked away without addressing it with his co-star Raashii Khanna taking over to talk about the film.
Vikrant Massey spoke to ANI and other reporters present there and called watching the film with the PM the `highest point of his career.`
He said, “I watched the film with the Prime Minister, all cabinet ministers, and many MPs. It was a special experience. I still can`t fully express it in words because I am so happy... This is the highest point of my career, that I got to watch my film with the Prime Minister.”

His post read, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home, as a husband, father, son, and also as an actor.”
"So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between," he concluded.
On the work front, Vikrant Massey has two upcoming projects, Yaar Jigri and Aakhon Ki Gustakhiyan, which will also mark his last of the movies.

The entire cast and crew of The Sabarmati Report attended the screening of the film at the Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament on Monday.
