Vikrant Massey Praised Farhan Akhtar But Criticized Some Actors, Know Why
Vikrant Massey recently appeared in an interview with `Unfiltered with Samdish.` The interviewer and actor got to discussing many topics including cars, bikes, personal anecdotes, Bollywood gossip, and the success of his recent film, 12th Fail.
During this interview, Vikrant candidly expressed his views on the professionalism standards followed by many Bollywood celebrities, and heaped special praise on Farhan Akhtar. The two shared the screen in Zoya Akhtar`s Dil Dhadakne Do.
Vikrant Massey even won the Best Actor Critics Filmfare for his terrific performance in 12th Fail. Now, the actor got candid in his conversation with Samdish Bhatia and gave us content which is worth gold.
Even then, whenever Farhan came to the set, he did not carry the script. He was already well versed in not just his dialogues, but the others` as well. He ended it by saying, "A man like Farhan Akhtar can do his homework and come. You should be ashamed."
While commenting on whether co-actors were ready on time for the shoot, he mentioned how some are more obsessed with making reels instead of reading scripts.
"We see it very often. Some actors even come on set, and their first priority is to make and upload reels. I won’t drop their names, even though I might go viral for saying this. But that person knows, and that person got to know about it there and then, so my purpose was solved at that time. I say things on the face, and I don’t have anything apart from my work," Massey further added.
Vikrant last starred in the film 12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He received his first Filmfare award in the `Best Actor (Critics)` category for portraying the role of an IPS officer, Manoj Kumar Sharma.
Apart from this award, the film bagged 4 other Filmfare awards. The movie collected 70 crores worldwide and went on to get wild recognition and critical acclaim.
On the personal front, Vikrant Massey and his wife, Sheetal Thakur welcomed a beautiful baby boy. They have not revealed the name but are extremely happy and proud parents.

He further said that while working with Farhan on the sets of Dil Dhadakne Do, Farhan wasn`t in want of anything. He was a producer and co-writer, with his sister Zoya producing the film.
