Tamannaah Bhatia has shared the screen space with Vijay Varma for the first time in Lust Stories 2, which is slated to release on June 29. For the unversed, it will have segments of short films driven by Amit Ravindranath Sharma, R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh.
Interestingly, Tamannaah and Vijay are headlining Sujoy Ghosh`s segment. What surprised fans is that Tamannaah, who has been working in the industry for 18 years now, has broke her no-kiss policy in this film and the reason behind this will shock you!
Tamannaah Bhatia Breaks Her No-Kissing Policy And Steps Out Of Her Comfort Zone
Recently, in an interview, Tamannaah spoke about how she has done very limited intimacy scenes in her career. She opened up and said that she didn`t break the "no-kissing" policy in this film to gain popularity, but it was purely a creative attempt.
While talking with a leading media agency, Tamannaah spoke about how badly she wanted to work with Sujoy Ghosh and is glad that he thought of her for this role even though she has done very little intimacy in her career. She said, “I was that audience that would get awkward and I was that audience that ‘main ye kabhi nahi karungi’, ‘Main kabhi nahi kiss karungi on screen."

She said that she used to be a very shy person but it has been kind of evolution for her to get out of that comfort zone and serve the audience.

The actress added, “Because India is huge and there are so many parts of India that still needs to evolve. There is a lot of evolution that has happened already, thanks to even internet and social media, everyone has information at their fingertips but I do feel like- because everyone’s consuming so much content-I felt like as an actor, I don’t want this to be something that is holding me back."
The Himmatwala actress further clarified, “And this was purely a creative endeavor. Abhi 18 saal ke baad I am not trying to be famous, you know. Like that’s not my endeavor or driving force.”
Seems like Tamannaah wants her fans to see her in such versatile characters and roles.
