In Dhoom 2, she was seen sharing a passionate kiss with her co-star, Hrithik Roshan. The same was in Karan Johar`s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which had her play Ranbir Kapoor`s lover.
In an old interview with DailyMail, the Devdas actress opened up about doing intimate scenes and said she was doing her job as an actor.

“I am just an actor doing my job, and here I am being asked to give an explanation for a couple of 2 to 3-second scenes in a two- to three-hour film. A lot of actors have kissed before this scene, and they continue to do so to this very date,” Aish explained.
During the conversation, she also confirmed that many actors are not comfortable doing intimate scenes, and one of them is her. She had to decline many such offers due to the unnecessary intimacy added to the script.
She also added that public display of affection (PDA) isn`t common in Indian culture, and hence, the audience may not embrace the moment well.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan further added, “It’s very rare that actors look comfortable in our cinema, on-screen, kissing. It almost looks like it’s a planned moment, just to make much to do about a moment or to excite the audience. The kisses in Western movies are what our songs do, and that’s where our audience experiences all the emotions that the Western audience does when their actors kiss.”
