`The Wedding of VIROSH` has taken the internet by storm, and fans cannot wait to see the first official wedding pictures of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda. The couple tied the knot on February 26 in an intimate ceremony.
Keeping it an only friends and family event, Vijay and Rashmika tied the knot in a lavish resort in Udaipur. They`re officially married in a Telugu ceremony; the VIROSH wedding would also see a Coorg ceremony, honouring the bride`s roots.
While fans wait for their dreamy pictures, here`s a throwback to when the Thamma actress`s ex-fiancé, Rakshit Shetty, admitted being in touch with her after their breakup.
What did Rakshit Shetty say about Rashmika Mandanna?
In 2023, during a promotional event for his film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: Side A, Shetty was asked if he is still in touch with his former ladylove.
Giving a positive nod, he said, "Yes, Rashmika and I are still in touch. She had a big dream in the world of cinema. Accordingly, she is moving towards that dream. She has the will to achieve the task she set out to do. We should pat her on the back for her achievement."
Amid Rashmika-Vijay`s wedding buzz, the actress`s past relationships have also made headlines.
According to reports, the Animal actress was 21 when she exchanged rings with Rakshit, who was 34 at the time. The two began dating after working together in the 2016 film Kirik Party, which also marked Rashmika`s debut.
They got engaged a year later in 2017. However, they called the engagement off in 2017, with neither of them revealing the actual reason.

On Sunday, the much-loved couple took to social media and made their relationship official, also announcing their wedding, leaving fans elated.

Taking it to Instagram stories, both bride and groom wrote, "Our dearest loves, before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves—you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us `VIROSH`. So today—with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it—`The Wedding of VIROSH`. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us—always. Biggest hugs and full love!"
Rashmika and Vijay have been dating for the past eight years. It all began on the sets of Geetha Govindam, where they were first paired opposite each other.
