Celebrate Navaratri with these latest releases

Navaratri is one of the most important festivals in the country. It is celebrated over 9 days, each day representing an avatar of Goddess Durga. The festival also signifies the triumph of good over evil. According to the Hindu rituals Navaratri is celebrateed four times a year, but two of them the Chaitra Navaratri and the Sharadiya Navaratri see large scale festivities. While the Chaitra Navaratri falls during the spring season, the Sharadiya Navatratri is celebrated at the onset of autumn.
Music and dance have always been a part of Navaratri celebrations. In many parts of the country people perform Garba and Dandiya Raas to celebrate the festival. Musicians release devotional songs every year to cater to the festivities.
Pahada Waliye Ambe Maa - Shivam Chaurasia
Singer Songwriter Shivam Chaurasia has released his latest devotional track Pahada Waliye Ambe Maa for all devotees of Mata Rani. The song is a modern interpretation of the bhajan style of music and includes the famous Navaratri/Durga Puja chane "Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu". The video has been directed by YAshi Parihar.

Ahmedabad based Hip Hop crew Aghori Muzik has come out with a groovy Navaratri track Dammar Daak 5. Written and composed by the crew, the song blends Hip Hop and traditional Dandiya sound effortlessly making it a winner amongst the younger Guajarati audience.

A soft number celebrating the feeling of Navaratri, Vadhaamana has been composed by the duo Raag Mehta and Zalak Pandya of the Mystic Melodies fame. The song is accompanied by a well shot music video featuring the gorgeous Vrajana Pandya.

Amit Trivedi is a master at using Indian sounds to make a foot tapping number. Just like his previous Navaratri song "Moti Veerana", "Dhol" is a song that will rule the garba festivities. A mix of traditional and western influences, the song has been composed by Amit Trivedi, lyrics have been penned by Jayashri Trivedi and sung by Asees Kaur and Amir Mir.
