The three-minute trailer revolves around the marital arrangement of Shardul Thakur, a gay cop (played by Rajkummar Rao) and Suman who is a physical education instructor (played by Bhumi Pednekar) who agree to marry each other to get rid of constant nagging of their parents and societal pressure.

Upon discovering that Bhumi is dating a woman and they that both are a part of the LGBTQ community, they set up a marital setting to support each other. Rather than coming out to their parents, they decide live together as roommates and develop a cherish-able bond.
