Since the pandemic is gone, movies that were previously scheduled to be released will now do so, causing significant movie clashes at the box office. Read on to know more.
1. Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan
On August 11th, 2022, Laal Singh Chadda, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, will premiere in theatres. Raksha Bandhan, starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, is also scheduled for release on August 11, 2022. Raksha Bandhan was previously rumored to be postponed, but it is now obvious that this is not going to happen.
2. Vikram Vedha and Ponniyin Selvan
The film Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan is scheduled for release on September 30. On the same day, Pooniyin Selvan, a Tamil film starring Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, would also be released. Although the film will be released in Tamil, it will also be dubbed in Hindi and distributed throughout India.3. Tejas and Mr. And Mrs. Mahi
Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar's films are at odds with one another. Tejas, featuring Kangana, is scheduled to hit theatres on October 5 while Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, starring Raj Kumar Rao and Jhanvi Kapoor, is scheduled for release on October 7. Despite the little time gap, they will share the same weeks for the movie's release.
4. Thank God and Ram Setu
Thank God features Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh. Ram Setu stars Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez. Both are scheduled to release on Diwali 2022. This is another clash of Akshay Kumar movies in a year.
5. Cirkus, Ganapath and Merry Christmas
This is going to be a three-way clash at the box office. These three movies; Cirkus featuring Ranveer Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. Tiger Shroff, and Kriti Sanon starrer Ganapath and Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas, are scheduled for release on Christmas this year. Whereas there were some speculations that Ganapath might get postponed but there is not yet any declaration for the same.
