3) He won the first ever Filmfare Award for Costume Designer
Manish Malhotra made his Bollywood debut with the 1990 film Swarg. Catapulting to success, he designed the costumes for Rangeela which became memorable for which he won the Filmfare Award.
4) Manish has Designed costume for Michael Jackson
Yes, you read that right! Manish Malhotra designed the costume for the king of pop himself! He made a stunning sherwani for him.
5) He has worked with Karan Johar's Father Yash Johar
Even before Karan Johar worked for Dharma, Manish Malhotra did as he designed the costume for Yash Johar's film Gumraah. Isn't that fascinating?
