The Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan starrer drops its official trailer
The aviation-thriller is inspired by true events, the film is reportedly based on the story of the 2015 Jet Airways Doha-Kochi flight which narrowly escaped due to heavy turbulence.
The flight took off on August 18th, 2015 from Doha, the capital of Qatar and arrived at Kochi airport at nearly 6 morning. The flight faced heavy turbulence as there was rain the previous night due to which there was low visibility.
The plot of the film revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna, played by Ajay Devgn and co-pilot, Rakul Preet who witnesses the entire incident first-hand.
One of the interesting things about Runway 34 is when Captain Vikrant is taken on trial and the opposing counsel Narayan Vedant’s face-off (played by Amitabh Bachchan) as he tries to uncover the truth. Click ‘here’ to watch the trailer.
