Know the Correct Way to Display Tiranga

Who it applies to:
Everyone in India is expected to follow the Flag Code. This includes individuals, private organisations, government institutions, and public bodies.
How to display:
When hung horizontally, the saffron band should be at the top. When hung vertically, the saffron band should be on the left (from the viewer`s perspective).
Respect:
The Tiranga should be treated with the utmost respect by avoiding any actions that might damage, dishonour, or disrespect the flag.
No misuse:
The flag is not to be used for commercial purposes like using it as clothing, printing it on everyday items, or using it as part of advertisements.
Proper care:
The flag should always be kept clean and in good condition. When a flag is no longer usable, it should be disposed of privately and with dignity.
Position of honor:
Whenever the Tiranga is displayed, it should be given the highest position of honour. It should be placed higher than other flags for prominent display.
