Aishwarya Rai was crowned in 1994, and made her Bollywood debut in 97 with the film Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya.

Juhi Chawla won the pageant in 1984 at the age of 17. She first appeared in the 1986 film Sultanate, and worked in blockbusters like Ishq and Yes Boss.
