Renowned Indian singer and musician Adnan Sami took to social media on October 7 to share heartbreaking news with his fans. His mother, Begum Naureen Sami Khan, passed away at the age of 77. The singer posted a heartfelt tribute to his mother, expressing his grief and immense sorrow at the loss.

Adnan Sami shared the news of his mother's demise through a poignant message on his social media accounts. He posted a picture of her along with an emotional note that read, 'It's with the greatest sadness amp infinite sorrow that I announce the demise of our beloved Mother, Begum Naureen Sami Khan. We are overtaken by profound grief. She was an incredible lady who shared love amp joy with everyone she touched. We will miss her immensely. Kindly say a prayer for her departed soul.'

He further concluded his message with a prayer, 'May Allah SWT bless our dearest Mother in Jannat-ul-Firdaushellip Ameenhellip' The cause of her death is currently unknown.

Following his post, condolences poured in from fans and celebrities alike. Many expressed their sadness and sent prayers for the departed soul. Actress Mini Mathur was among the notable names to offer her sympathy, commenting, 'Dear Adnan, Roya, and Madina I am very sad about the death of your mother. I pray that your family gets the strength to get out of this grief and your mother gets heaven.'

Adnan Sami, one of the most well-known voices in Indian music, has a career spanning several decades. Some of his iconic songs include Tu Sirf Mera Mehboob, Aye Udi Udi Udi, Gela Gela Gela, and Tera Chehra. He was especially popular in the 90s and early 2000s, and his soulful voice has left a lasting impact on Bollywood music.

Sami was born on August 15, 1971, in London to a diverse and accomplished family. His father, Arshad Sami Khan, was a Pashtun from Afghanistan and served as a pilot in the Pakistan Air Force before becoming a senior government official and ambassador to 14 countries. His mother, Naureen Khan, hailed from Jammu, India.
