Himesh Reshammiya Loses Father Vipin Reshammiya at 87
One of the most debatable singers, Himesh Reshammiya, has had a fan following ever since he made his musical debut in Bollywood. However, today marks a rather disturbing day for him as his father, Vipin Reshammiya, passes away. He was 87.
A veteran music director and father of the Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa singer breathed his last on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at Mumbai`s Kokilaben Hospital. He had been reportedly admitted after complaining about breathing difficulties and age-related issues.
For the uninitiated, Vipin Reshammiya was a renowned Indian music composer and singer, known for his contributions to the Bollywood music industry. He was associated with various genres.
Kumar Sanu took to social media and expressed his condolences on Reshammiya`s demise. Sharing a throwback picture, he paid a tribute to the veteran musician by penning down a heartfelt note.
"Saddened and heartbroken by news of Vipin Reshamiya Ji’s demise. He was a very kind soul with a smiling face. I shared so many beautiful moments with him. Ap bahot yad aoge!! Om Shanti," Sanu wrote.
Himesh promised to release the song soon. Calling it one of the finest classic melodies, he recalled his dad had composed it with a lot of love.
Sharing the video, Himesh Reshammiya wrote, “I feel that it’s one of the finest classic melodies of all time, which should come out in the market for all music lovers, and I will be bringing the song out in the market soon. My dad had composed it with a lot of love, and I’m happy that this song will be coming out soon for all of you. Give it all your love when it comes out and you hear it. We shot for the Kishore Kumar 100 songs special this week, and the very talented singers of #indianidol sang beautifully, like always, lots of love.”
