Ekta Kapoor In Trouble As Arrest Warrant Issued Against Her For Insulting Indian Army

Ekta Kapoor and mother Shobha Kapoor land in some serious trouble as a Bihar court issues arrest warrant against the mother and daughter. This shocking news comes after an ex-serviceman Shambhu Kumar complained about the television producer allegedly insulting and hurting sentiments of Indian soldiers and their families in her web series XXX season 2.

A resident of Begusarai, Shambhu filed a complained about the second season of Ekta Kapoor web series XXX portrayed some objectionable scenes related to a soldier's wife. His lawyer Hrishikesh Pathak said that the web series was streaming on ALT Balaji, Ekta Kapoor's OTT platform which is owned by Bajali Telefilms. Her mother Shobha Kapoor is also associated with the Balaji Telefims.

'The court had issued summons to them [the Kapoors] and asked them to appear before it in connection with the matter,' Pathak said. He further added, 'They informed the court that certain scenes in the series were removed after objection, but did not appear before the court following which the warrant was issued against them.'

Besides the complaint in Begusarai, two more First information Reports (FIR) were filed in Muzzafarpur and Indore which led to her arrest warrant. Both these complains were in conection with Ekta Kapoor's web series XXX season 2.
