As Animal makes its grand release on December 1, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been giving multiple interviews to news portals, where he opens up more about the finer details. In one of the interviews, she made a much-needed clarification regarding the character of Bobby Deol that has been doing the rounds online.
Is Bobby Deol playing a mute character in Animal?
Well, not at all. Moreover, there were theories that Bobby Deol's character was in fact the stepbrother of Ranbir Kapoor's character. Speaking up about both of these claims, he has said, "Bobby is the main villain of the film. It's not true that he's Ranbir's stepbrother or mute."
Along with that, he was also asked if the film is biographical in any way. Animal tells a father-son story that is carved in blood. Featuring menacing performances by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, the trailer for the film generated quite a lot of buzz.
Sandeep Vanga said, "No, the film isn't my story. It's a simple story, but the characters are complex." At this important point before the film's release, Sandeep Vanga refused to elaborate more on the story, and rightly so. Audiences can know everything once they go to the theaters to witness its raw energy.
In another interview, he also gave clarification about the viral clip from the trailer of Rashmika Mandanna that has become a meme.
Animal has been getting some really exceptional pre-release buzz, with more than 2 lakh tickets sold already for day 1. It is expected to become a blockbuster, along with being the biggest opener in the career of Ranbir Kapoor.

Animal marks Sandeep's third film after Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, both of which garnered good reactions from audiences amidst multiple controversies surrounding it.
