The upcoming comedy Bad Newz, starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has found itself in the crosshairs of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Just days before its scheduled release, the film has been subjected to cuts, with three kissing scenes, totaling 27 seconds, falling victim to the censor's blade.

The Examining Committee of the CBFC took issue with three specific sequences, each spanning a brief duration of 9, 10, and 8 seconds, respectively.
