Speaking of which, Rohit Sharma and Ed Sheeran sat down to have a candid chat about cricket, music, food, and everything in between. The Hollywood singer even sang for the cricketer's daughter, Samaira.

The two appeared on the Indian chat show 'Breakfast with Champions' hosted by Gaurav Kapoor. In the same vein, Ed Sheeran and Rohit Sharma had a rather fun conversation about what goes on on the field and dove deep into the music industry.

During the interview, the singer adorably sang for the cricketer's 5-year-old daughter, Samaira Sharma. She was joined by Rohit's wife, Ritika Sajdeh.

The music maestro visited Mumbai for the second time for a concert tour. Many Bollywood celebrities made it to the night filled with music and joy. He shared glimpses of his escapade in the city of dreams on his YouTube channel.

In a candid conversation with Gaurav Kapoor, the Shape of You singer was seen singing for the Indian skipper's daughter. He sang one of his popular songs, 'Bad Habits.'

As he finished the song, Rohit was seen smiling and applauding happily.

During his trip to Mumbai, Sheeran also explored the bustling streets of the city with cricketer Shubman Gill and comedia Tanmay Bhatt. In the video, the trio is seen playing cricket, indulging in local delicacies, and creating memorable moments along the way.

Earlier last month, the Hollywood singer also collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan for a fun reel where the duo recreated the actor's iconic pose.

In the 'Breakfast with Champions' interview, Ed Sheeran asked the Indian cricketer about his retirement plans and whether he was interested in owning a cricket team to nurture budding players.

Responding to his question, Rohit Sharma said he hasn't given much thought to his retirement but has opened up about his plans to continue playing competitive cricket.

'I haven't really thought about retirement. But I don't know where life takes you. I am playing well at the moment, and I am thinking of continuing for a few more years. I really want to win that World Cup," he said.

The Indian skipper, who will be leading the T20 World Cup in June, further added, 'The 50-over World Cup is the actual World Cup. We have grown up watching the 50-over World Cup. There is the World Test Championship final happening at Lord's in 2025. Hopefully, we will make it there."

Currently, the 36-year-old cricketer is busy playing in the Indian Premier League for Mumbai, while Ed Sheeran has returned home after his visit to India.
