Flashback Friday: When Deepika Padukone Showed Off Her Tennis Skills With The Iconic Roger Federer

Apart from being a spectacular actress, Deepika Padukone is also a proactive badminton player. Sports has played a major part in shaping her for what she is today. Speaking of sports, we're here to take you back in the day when teh actress played tennis with the iconic Roger Federer at the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL). It is a perfect flashback Friday for us.

This Bollywood-sports story goes way back to 2014 when Deepika Padukone showed off her tennis skills with the World Champion Roger Federer for a friendly match in Delhi. The IPTL was also attended by several other Bollywood celebrities and sports players such as Akshay Kumar, Sania Mirza, Riteish Deshmukh, Novak Djokovic, and Sunil Gavaskar.

Wearing a balck tank top with black tights and white sneakers, the Padmaavat actress looked like a visual treat. Deepika smiled ear to ear while having a friendly conversation with the tennis star. Meanwhile, Roger Federer broke a rather upsetting news on Thursday. The tennis icon announced his retirement from the sport and that the upcoming laver Cup will be his final time.

On the work front, Deepika will be seen next in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, If rumours were to be believed, she'll also be headlining Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part 2: Dev.
