Kriti Sanon Shares A BTS Video Of Glamming Up For National Film Awards, Says I Was Feeling Emotional

Kriti Sanon made India proud as she bagged the National Film Award for Best Actress for her incredible performance in Mimi. At the ceremony that took place on Tuesday, the actress was accompanied by her parents. Kriti looked stunning in a beige saree with multicolor pleats. Now, the actress has shared a BTS video of herself getting ready for the event.

Held in New Delhi, the winners of the National Film Awards were felicitated by the President of India, Draupadi Murmu. Kriti Sanon is currently on Channel Nine as she reminisces about winning the award.

Giving a glimpse of what went behind her look on the special day, Kriti took to Instagram and shared a little BTS video as she dressed up in Manish Malhotra's saree for the event. Her statement earrings and little bindi completed the look.

In the video, Kriti Sanon can be seen saying, "When I was meditating, I was feeling every emotion - very excited and very nervous, actually. I'm a little anxious," she added, saying she hadn't eaten anything throughout the day as her emotions were all over the place.

Sharing the video on Instagram, her caption read, 'Zameen badli nahi, toh aasmaan badal gaya. When we are in a moment, it is very rare that we know that it is going to be one of the best moments of our lives. Yesterday felt like that! I had my loved ones around. I missed you, Nups @nupursanon, Dinoo, @laxman.utekar sir, and the team of Mimi! had them in my heart! Feeling so much gratitude!"

About the 69th National Film Awards

The 69th National Film Awards were hosted in New Delhi on Tuesday, as several celebrities flew to the capital to attend the prestigious event. Along with Kriti Sanon, actors like Alia Bhatt, Pankaj Tripathi, and Allu Arjun also won the prestigious title for their stellar performances.

While Alia won the national award for her spectacular performance in Gangubai Kathiyawadi, Allu Arjun bagged the Best Actor award for Pushpa: The Rise.

Pankaj Tripathi was yet another winner in the Best Actor category for his flawless performance in Mimi. Adiditonally, Vicky Kaushal's Sardar Udham won the Best Hindi Film (Feature) award in the Regional Film Category.

R. Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect won the award for Best Feature Film, while Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration.
