Popular Malayalam actress and comedian Subi Suresh passed away on the morning of February 22 after battling a severe liver ailment. Subi was 41 when she breathed her last in a private hospital in Kochi. Subi was one of the most loved comedians and actors in the Malayalam TV and film industry.

Who is Subi Suresh?

Having started her career as a comedian, Subi Suresh soon became a household name when she entered the evergreen show Cinemala. Her hilarious avatars from the show are still loved by all. Gaining popularity from Cinemala, Subi got a handful of roles in some hit Malayalam movies. She was seen playing comic roles in movies like Happy Husbands, Kankanasimhasanam, and more.

After Cinemala, Subi made her comeback to Malayalam television with the kids' show Kutty Pattalam. Her funny anecdotes and interactions with kids entertained the viewers thoroughly. She was also seen in the cooking show Kutty Kalavara and 2018's TV show Labour Room.

Subi Suresh made headlines for her befitting reply to a netizen who passed sleazy comments on her dressing style. Taking it to social media, she wrote, "I am fed up with such moral policing, Uncles. Thinking he was trying to be famous."
