Min Nam-koong and Vincenzo’s Jeon Yoo-bin Paired for a Romantic K-drama

The world of K-drama is about to witness an exciting new pairing as acclaimed actors Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo Been join forces for an upcoming romantic drama, Our Movie. The highly anticipated series, set to air on SBS in 2025, promises a captivating blend of romance, melodrama, and an emotional meta-narrative.

A Powerhouse Duo Come Together for a 2025 Release

Namgoong Min, best known for his role in One Dollar Lawyer, will take on the lead role of Lee Jae Ha, a film director grappling with an artistic slump after his first movie became a runaway success. On the other hand, Jeon Yeo Been, widely loved for her performance as the CEO of Jipuragi Law Firm in Vincenzo, will play Lee Da Eum, an aspiring actress living with a rare and incurable illness. Despite her condition, Da Eum is determined to pursue her dream of acting, which leads her to collaborate with Jae Ha in the making of a film about terminally ill patients.

Initially, Our Movie was set to premiere on tvN, a network known for producing hits like Ji Sung's Connection and Good Partner, starring Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun. However, a recent announcement on Friday, September 27, confirmed that the drama will now be broadcast on SBS. With a prime Friday-Saturday time slot in 2025, the show is positioned to become a weekend favourite.

Although other cast members remain under wraps, rumours suggest that Lee Seol, from D.P., will take on a pivotal role in the series, adding further intrigue to the already stellar lineup.

The drama is helmed by Lee Jung Heum, known for his work on Nobody Knows and Falsify. His experience in directing emotionally driven narratives makes him a perfect fit for this project. Joining him are writers Han Ga Eun and Kang Kyung Min, both of whom have a track record of crafting compelling stories. Their involvement ensures that Our Movie will have a strong script to complement the star-studded cast.

Jeon Yeo-bin, on the other hand, recently starred in Netflix's A Time Called You and earned widespread recognition for her role in Vincenzo. She has also appeared in films like Night in Paradise and Cobweb, cementing her status as one of Korea's most versatile actresses.
