The 1993 thriller Baazigar, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has remained one of Bollywood's most iconic films. Directed by the Abbas-Mustan duo, Baazigar introduced audiences to a darker, more complex protagonistmdasha move that transformed Khan's career and redefined Bollywood's perception of the "hero." Recently, producer Ratan Jain stirred excitement by hinting at the possibility of a Baazigar sequel, revealing he is in discussions with Khan regarding the project. However, fans should manage their expectations, as the project is still in its early stages.

Ratan Jain Confirms Sequel Talks with Shah Rukh Khan

Producer Ratan Jain, the mind behind the original Baazigar, has officially addressed the rumours surrounding a sequel. Breaking his silence, he stated that talks are indeed underway with Shah Rukh Khan about the potential for Baazigar 2. Jain also made it clear that any sequel would only proceed if Khan agrees to return as the lead.

Despite the buzz, Jain cautioned that the project is still in the ideation phase. No script has been developed, and there are currently no concrete plans. For now, Baazigar 2 remains a possibility, albeit one that's contingent on further discussions and Khan's involvement.
