Stray Kids’ Felix Becomes the Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF Korea

K-pop sensation Felix from Stray Kids has added another milestone to his career. On September 23, 2024, he was officially appointed as UNICEF Korea's Goodwill Ambassador. Known for his talent and generosity, Felix will now use his platform to spread awareness and support children globally, further cementing his positive influence.
Felix's Commitment to UNICEF's Mission
Felix was chosen as UNICEF Korea's Goodwill Ambassador for his consistent support of children's welfare. Since his debut as a singer, the rapper has actively donated to various causes, particularly those aimed at improving children's lives.Notably, Felix has contributed over 150 million KRW towards better nutrition and sanitation for children. His philanthropic efforts have not stopped at financial donations. He also travelled to Laos to engage in volunteer work with UNICEF, further demonstrating his hands-on commitment to the cause.
In January 2024, Felix made a generous donation of 100 million KRW to UNICEF, marking him as the youngest member of the UNICEF Honors Club. This prestigious club is reserved for individuals who donate over 100 million KRW. His latest significant contribution came on his 24th birthday, September 15, 2024, when he donated another 100 million KRW (approximately 75,200 USD) to help children in need.

Felix's appointment coincides with the Korean committee's 30th anniversary, making his involvement even more special. He will work with UNICEF to spread a positive impact as part of their ongoing efforts to promote children's rights.
Speaking on his new role, Felix shared his enthusiasm, saying, "I decided to take on the role of a UNICEF Korea Committee Goodwill Ambassador because I want to protect the pure happiness of all children. I am grateful for the love I've received from fans, and with that love as my strength, I want to give my all in sharing love with children."
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) works worldwide to promote and protect the rights of children, adhering to the principles outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of Children. With ambassadors like Felix, UNICEF continues to raise awareness and ensure that children everywhere are given the love, protection, and opportunities they deserve.

Felix is an Australian-Korean singer, widely recognised as a member of the K-pop group Stray Kids, which debuted on March 25, 2018. The group, which includes members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Seungmin, and IN, has produced hits like God's Menu, Back Door, and Miroh.Felix has also ventured into solo projects, such as his feature on labelmate Nayeon's song No Problem and a cameo appearance in NiziU's Heartris music video. Recently, Felix made his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week in March 2024, showcasing Louis Vuitton's Women's Fall-Winter Collection.
