Triptii Dimri, who made her debut in Poster Boys (2017), has swiftly risen to fame in the Indian film industry. After a cameo in the 2023 action-thriller Animal, starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii solidified her place in Bollywood, becoming a household name and earning the title of the "National Crush." While her portrayal of Zoya in the film was met with immense love, the sudden rise in fame also brought a wave of criticism that left a deep emotional impact on the actress.

Facing the Backlash

In a candid interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Triptii opened up about the highs and lows of her career. Despite embracing the admiration for her role, she revealed that the praise was accompanied by harsh criticism, which took an emotional toll on her. Recalling her struggle, she said, 'I cried for 2-3 days after Animal. I never expected that I would be subjected to such criticism, and that too at this level. Dimaag kharab hogaya tha ki kya likh rahe hain log.'

The actress admitted that she was deeply affected, unable to comprehend the harsh comments on social media. 'I am very sensitive as a person. Even if I get into a fight with someone, I don't say anything I just go into a shell. The same thing happened here. I was being affected a lot,' she shared.
