Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, known for his impactful performances in Indian cinema, has been hospitalised. The 77-year-old star is currently admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Fans and well-wishers are relieved to know that there are no alarming updates about his health, and he is expected to be discharged soon.

Health Concerns and Hospitalisation

Shatrughan Sinha's son, Luv Sinha, shared details about his father's health. "My father had a strong fever, and we decided to take him to the hospital so that he could recover and we could have his yearly tests done as well," Luv said. This hospitalisation will allow the veteran actor to undergo his annual health checkup.

Reports suggest that Sinha tripped and fell while strolling through his dining room on Monday. His daughter, Sonakshi, was present nearby and helped lessen the impact of the fall. According to the report, Shatrughan was casually getting up from his sofa when his feet hit the carpet's corner. The report claims that if his daughter hadn't been there, "the impact of the fall might have been greater."

Following the fall, Shatrughan received immediate medical attention and rested for a day. The next morning, he began experiencing intense pain in his ribs and was advised to undergo hospitalisation for a routine check-up to assess any potential internal injuries.

According to Luv Sinha, there are no alarming updates regarding his father's health, and Shatrughan Sinha is expected to be discharged on July 1. Sinha's best friend and ex-Censor Chief Pahlaj Nihalani commented, "Yes, Shatru ji is in hospital. But he is absolutely fine now. He should be back home by tomorrow evening."

Shatrughan Sinha's family has been a pillar of support during this time. Sonakshi Sinha and her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, were spotted exiting the hospital on Friday after visiting him. The couple, who recently tied the knot on June 23, also hosted a star-studded reception the same day.

A Month of Celebrations and Challenges

June has been an eventful month for Shatrughan Sinha. Besides dealing with his health issues, he also celebrated significant personal milestones. Shatrughan emerged victorious from West Bengal's Asansol constituency, representing his party, TMC, in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This victory was followed by the joyous occasion of his daughter's wedding.

However, the celebrations were somewhat overshadowed by the absence of his son, Luv Sinha, at Sonakshi's wedding. This led to speculations about Luv's opinion of his sister's partner. Addressing these rumours, Luv criticised a website for allegedly running an online campaign against him on a false premise about why he didn't attend the wedding. He clarified his stance by posting on social media, saying, 'Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won't change the fact that for me, my family will always come first.' His twin brother, Kussh, also denied reports that Luv skipped the wedding.
