About Mahavtar and Lord Parashurama
The story of Parashurama is both captivating and complex. Known for his fiery temper and devotion to dharma, Parashurama was granted an iconic axe, the Parashu, by Lord Shiva, after whom he earned his name.As the sixth avatar of Vishnu, Parashurama's mission was to rid the Earth of the tyrant Chakravarti Samrat Karthaveerya Arjuna, whose reign had become corrupted by ego and oppression. Parashurama's journey, marked by strength, penance, and resilience, symbolises the eternal struggle for justice and virtue.
