One of the most versatile actors who has carved his own niche, Abhishek Bachchan, has proven to be one of the best products of nepotism. Despite being the son of a legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan, he has never taken any of his successes or failures for granted. Known for his hard work and dedication, Abhishek has time and again impressed us with his incredible performances.
Be it Jay Dixit in Dhoom or Sameer in Dostana, the actor has always added his own touch of uniqueness to his characters. Abhishek Bachchan turns a year older today.
While we love all of his performances, he has a contradictory point of view when it comes to reviewing himself as an actor.
Here's why Abhishek Bachchan hates his performances
It has been about 24 years that the actor has been a part of the Hindi film industry. He made his debut in 2000 with Refugee, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Abhishek has been featured in over 50 films. Some of his massive blockbusters include Dhoom, Bunty Aur Babli, Dostana, Bol Bachchan, Guru, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, among others. As he rings in his 48th birthday, Abhishek Bachchan once opened up about why he is so critical of his own work.

Speaking with PTI, Jr. Bachchan said, "I hate all my performances and hope I don't start liking them. I believe that the day you start liking your work is the day you become complacent. I review my work, and I always find something I can improve on. I think it's the same with all actors. We are always trying to improve ourselves from our last outing. So I am not a big fan of my own work."
This interview happened while the actor was promoting his film, Dhoom 3. It has been one of the most successful series of high-octane action dramas. In the same interview, Abhishek opened up about his experience working with Aamir Khan.
"What an honor it is for any actor to get the opportunity to work with him. You get to learn so much by just observing him. He is so helpful, caring, and giving as an actor, and it's been a great experience working with him," Abhishek further added.
