The second wave of the pandemic dampened everyone’s plans, but as normalcy resumed, so did work. Tanuja Chandra, who had stalled the shoot of her Amazon Prime Video series, Hush Hush, where she serves as an executive producer and creative director, has gone back to the set.
“More than 50 per cent of Hush Hush is complete. It was being shot in Delhi in April before the second wave began, [but was halted in between]. Picking up from where they left off, the cast and crew will report to Delhi, before coming back to Mumbai to wrap up the series,” informs a source, adding that the final Mumbai schedule is slated for October, post which the show will be wrapped up in November.
Helmed by Kopal Nathani, the thriller featuring Juhi Chawla, Kritika Kamra, Soha Ali Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Karishma Tanna, and Shahana Goswami, revolves around six “women sharing their stories of power, passion, friendship, anger, and deceit”. “[The series] is Juhi, Ayesha and Soha’s debut into the digital entertainment.”
Announced on March 8 as an ode to women on Women’s Day, the series is lead by an all-women cast and crew. Written by National Award-winning writer Juhi Chaturvedi, the series is being produced by Vikram Malhotra. Neck-deep in production for the Delhi schedule, Chandra remained unavailable for comment.
