Boney Kapoor Reveals Sridevi`s Religious Side; Says `Started Believing More in it Because of Her`
During a recent interview, Boney Kapoor became emotional while discussing his late wife, Sridevi. He shared that she was a deeply spiritual person, which had a profound impact on his own beliefs. Boney Kapoor is currently promoting his latest production, Maidaan, starring Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Gajaraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh.
He also shared that his late wife sometimes did unusual or unconventional things. To corroborate his statement, he mentioned one incident. He recalled, “Sridevi did unusual roles and unusual things. She lit the fire on the pyre when her mother passed away.” In Indian culture, it is traditionally the responsibility of men to perform funeral rites.

The late actress Sridevi was renowned for her roles in films such as `Chandni`, `Lamhe`, `Mr. India`, `Chaalbaaz`, `Nagina`, `Sadma`, `English Vinglish`, and many others. Her final film, `Mom`, was released in 2017, and she was posthumously awarded the Best Actress National Award. The actress Sridevi has been awarded the Padma Shri national award for her contribution to Indian cinema. The upcoming movie is a biopic based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, who is also known as the founding father of football in India. Ajay Devgn will play the lead role of the coach, co-starring Priyamani, Gajaraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh in supporting roles.

I started believing more in it because of her.” It is quite a well-known fact that Sridevi visited the Tirupati Balaji Temple often. Her daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, has carried this tradition forward.
