Pamela Chopra Death: Yash Chopra`s Wife And Aditya Chopra`s Mother Passes Away

On Thursday morning, Yash Chopra`s wife Pamela Chopra breathed her last. The writer-singer died after suffering a serious ailment. Pamela was a renowned Indian playback singer. She was also a film writer and producer of her own rights. According to reports, she was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and was on ventilator support for a few days. However, her health deteriorated and she died on the morning of April 20.
Pamela Chopra was cremated on Thursday morning. Taking it to social media, Yash Raj Films issued an official statement and broke the shocking news. It read, "With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning. Her cremation took place at 11 am today in Mumbai. We are grateful for your prayers and the family would like to request for privacy in this moment of deep sadness and reflection (sic)."

Pamela and Yash ji`s was an arranged marriage. They tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in 1970. They have two sons together - Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra. Aditya is a director and a producer, just like his father. He is married to actress Rani Mukerji.
