Priyanka Chopra Is Excited as She Returns to Mumbai!

Priyanka Chopra is currently enjoying a gala time with her husband, Nick Jonas, as he is on a musical tour with his brother. Priyanka Chopra was seen going with him to some concerts, where she also took their daughter Malti Marie.
Now, she is returning to Mumbai for the upcoming Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festival. The festival begins on October 27, and Priyanka Chopra will grace the opening ceremony on Friday night.
Priyanka Chopra shared a picture on her Instagram story and wrote, "It’s been a minute, Mumbai", referring to how she feels like she has only been away for a minute. Se further added, "I cannot wait."
Priyanka has been the chairperson of the festival for successive editions, including this year. She will be hosting the screening of the opening film by Hansal Mehta, The Buckingham Murders. Kareena Kapoor plays the role of a cop in the film.

The film recently won accolades at its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival. It is a thriller that is set against the themes of grief and moving on as a mother takes up the case of a child`s disappearance. The film is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
Priyanka Chopra was last seen in the American romance drama, Love Again. Along with that, she starred in the web series Citadel, which was released on Amazon Prime Video.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor has been having a gala time with the release of her film Jaanejaan, which received some rave reviews from critics and audiences. It also featured Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in important roles.
It was based on the Japanese book, Devotion of Suspect X. The film was directed by Sujay Ghosh, known for making films like Kahani.
The Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festival will take place in multiple locations across Mumbai from October 27 to November 5. With over 250 films being screened from all over the world, it has brought happiness to cinephiles.
The festival has not taken place for the past 2–3 years since the COVID-19 pandemic. It is returning in full swing this year.
