Rajpal Yadav Opens Up On Why Akshay Kumar Pushed Him In A Viral Video

When you think of an iconic Bollywood duo who has an effortless comic chemistry, Akshay Kumar and Rajpal Yadav cannot go unnoticed. Their on-screen camaraderie, especially in Priyadarshan movies, has been a laughter riot.
Moviegoers are already excited to see them in the upcoming horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla. After their decade-long collaborations, the two actors have found themselves in the centre of a controversy as Akshay was seen pushing Rajpal during a promotional photoshoot.
Now, Yadav has clarified that it was not what it looked like in the video. Instead, Kumar was only being courteous to the ladies accompanying them.

The two superstars are currently busy promoting their upcoming film, Bhooth Bangla, which is slated for a theatrical release on April 10. Recently, a video of Akshay posing with Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, Ekta Kapoor, and Kanika Maan, along with Rajpal, went viral.

While Akshay was asking his co-star to stand on the right, letting the ladies take centre stage, netizens seemed to think it was an insult to the Dhol actor.

Now, in an interview, he clarified Akshay Kumar`s actions and said, "If I talk about the controversy of that day, both Akshay and Ekta had come along with the other two girls. I was late, and they were waiting for me. As soon as I came running, I was in the middle of the girls. So Akshay paji was telling me that we will keep the women in the middle, and I will stand on one side, and he will stand on the other."
"This is actually the deep-rooted moral values of Akshay Paji that we decided to stand for like this. I don`t know what people thought from a distance. Actually, Akshay sir has this gesture that when there are three girls and two males, the three females are always in the middle with one male on one side and the other male on the other side," he added.

Highlighting the mutual love and respect they have for each other over the years, Rajpal Yadav explained, "Akshay Paji, from 2003, from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi to Bhooth Bangla, we must have shouted at each other ten times in life, must have rehearsed ten times, must have done something to each other ten times."
"In life, he loves me, I love him, and I get inspired by him somewhere. We know each other`s acting, and we respect each other a lot," he concluded.
The duo will next be seen in Bhooth Bangla, which also stars Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Mithila Palkar, and Ansari in pivotal roles.
