Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Animal in full swing. With the promotion of the film underway, Ranbir is giving interviews, talking more about his character in the film and how he decided to become a part of it.
In an interview, he revealed the reason for accepting the film in the first place. He said, "Well, to be honest, I was really drawn to the script of Animal. It`s a unique and intense story that immediately caught my attention."
Further, he was asked if he had seen any of Sandeep Reddy Vanga`s previous films. He is the director of Arjun Reddy, which was remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh, also directed by him. Ranbir Singh shared his thoughts on watching Kabir Singh.
Ranbir Singh said this on Kabir Singh, "As for watching Arjun Reddy or Kabir Singh, I must admit that I did watch both films and found them to be incredibly powerful and impactful. However, my decision to accept Animal was not solely based on those films. It was more about the script, the character, and the opportunity to work with Sandeep Reddy Vanga."

There are striking similarities between his character and that of Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy in the way both exhibit some violent tendencies and are short-tempered. But Ranbir said that Animal will be a completely different experience as it is based in a totally different world.
In Arjun Reddy, Vijay Deverakonda played the titular role, while in the Hindi remake, Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor donned the role to perfection.
The teaser for the film gave a glimpse into the violent world of the film, which is essentially the story of a toxic bond between a father and a son. Apart from this, it has given a feeling of action with love and emotion at its center. Ranbir looks absolutely stunning in the bearded look, giving off a beasty appeal.
Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in important roles. It is all set to release on December 1 and clash with Sam Bahadur, which stars Vicky Kaushal.
All eyes are on the trailer for the film, which releases on November 23.
