After Karan Johar and brigade have been given a new lease of life with opposing political parties calling off their protests against the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, sources suggest that scenes starring Fawad Khan will be retained as it is. Apparently rumours of Fawad Khan’s role getting axed in the film started doing the rounds in between all the confusion that followed after the protests. But the air was cleared by a source close to the movie, who said, "It is not true at all that Fawad scenes have been chopped off. Fawad has an important role in the movie, so much so that you can&39;t call it a cameo. Whatever Fawad shot for in the movie, has been retained totally. So there is no question of chopping it off. " Well certainly, a reason to rejoice for Fawad Khan fans, right? Slated for a Diwali release, the movie also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
