The actor reportedly died by suicide on Thursday in Mumbai, leaving fans and colleagues stunned and grieving. The actor’s close friend Kuldeep also shared insights into the family’s reaction to the tragic news, explaining, “We came to know today morning when his father and sister called us, revealing that Nitin had passed away, and they mentioned that the cause of death was suicide. We are equally shocked as he was going to come next month to Delhi and we had plans of going to Khatu Shyam ji’s temple together.” Details regarding the exact circumstances of his death are still awaited, and Chauhaan’s father has reportedly travelled to Mumbai to claim his son’s remains.

Sahir, who worked with Chauhaan on the popular TV show Tera Yaar Hoon Main, posted a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram story, writing, “Rest in peace, buddy.” Fellow actor Vibhuti Thakur also mourned Chauhaan`s passing, sharing a touching message along with a photo of the two. She wrote, “Rest in peace, my dear. I`m really shocked and sad. I wish you had the strength to face all the troubles.
