Pop Artist Nikitaa drops Hindi single Apsara

After releasing the succesful LoFi version of her song Bad Trip with Amaal Mallik, pop singer songwriter Nikitaa has dropped her latest Hindi single Apsara. Co produced by Mukund Komanduri the song explores feminine sensuality and has a hypnotic sound made prominent with the use of the flute, veena and sitar. Having written the song during the pandemic, this is Nikitaa`s third release of the year after Bad Trip and Bad Trip Lo Fi. The song is accompanied with a stylish music video directed by Alexandre Bar and featuring Nikitaa and her girl gang.
Nikitaa, a Mumbai native who has spent the last few years honing her craft in Los Angeles, combines Pop/RnB with a subtle nod to the South-Asian soundscape to bring a new genre she calls Goddess Pop. In 2020, the Mumbai-based singer released four singles in collaboration with Nikhil DSouza and sang for the Netflix film Masaba Masaba. At the end of 2021, singer-songwriter Nikitaa released her album ‘High Priestess", comprising 12 songs that represent archetypes Nikitaa has encountered or wanted to call into her life. Nikitaa dropped her first song of 2022—a new Hindi single Zindagi Hai Abhi in collaboration with renowned composers Amaal Mallik and Daboo Malik. She followed it up with the multilingual track Bad Trip.
