The beloved actor Allu Arjun recently visited KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad to meet eight-year-old Sritej, a young victim of the tragic stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2. Allu Arjun's Visit to KIMS Hospital
On Tuesday, January 7, Allu Arjun arrived at KIMS Hospital to check on Sritej's condition. Accompanied by Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman Dil Raju, the actor's visit demonstrated his concern for the boy. A video captured Arjun entering the hospital premises with his team, reflecting the emotional weight of the moment.Originally, Arjun had planned to visit on January 5 but postponed the visit due to legal and security concerns. Earlier, he expressed his deep concern, saying he was looking forward to meeting Sritej and his family while wishing the boy a speedy recovery.
The stampede occurred on December 4, 2024, during the Pushpa 2 premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. Fans flocked to catch a glimpse of Arjun, leading to chaos that claimed the life of a woman named Revathi and left her son, Sritej, critically injured.
The young boy had been unresponsive for 20 days but recently showed signs of recovery. His father, Bhaskar, expressed hope, saying, 'The child responded after 20 days. He is responding today. Allu Arjun and the Telangana government are supporting us.'

Legal Challenges Surrounding the Actor
The tragic event has also embroiled Allu Arjun in legal trouble. The actor has been named as accused No. 11 in the case filed after the stampede. Charges were registered against him, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the case and granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court on December 14. Following his release, he was advised by the authorities to keep his hospital visit confidential to prevent crowd disturbances. Security around the hospital was heightened in anticipation of his arrival.
Despite the legal proceedings, Arjun's visit underscores his commitment to supporting the victims and their families. This tragic event serves as a sombre reminder of the responsibilities celebrities bear in their public engagements. As Sritej continues his recovery journey, the support from Arjun and the Telangana government remains a source of hope for the family.
