Glam To Chemo, Hina Khan Recalls Going For Treatment After Receiving An Award

You never know what life throws at you, especially when it is about your health. Hina Khan, a leading television actress, is proof that life can be unexpected and unpredictable. After she announced her diagnosis of stage three breast cancer, the internet was taken by storm.

For the uninitiated, the Bigg Boss 11 runner-up shared the heartbreaking news on Friday, June 28, about being diagnosed with breast cancer. She is in the third stage of the disease. Sharing the shocking announcement on social media, Hina said she was determined to beat cancer and come out of it healthy and happy.

While all of the Hindi television industry came together to wish her a speedy recovery, Hina Khan has now shared yet another video that gives a glimpse of her first chemotherapy.

On Monday, the actress shared a video of her hospital visit, where she was going for her first chemotherapy right after attending an award function. She received an award at the event as well.

The video begins with Hina posing for the photographers on the red carpet in an off-white outfit. She looked absolutely stunning as she received an award.

She is then seen entering the hospital in casual clothes for her first chemotherapy session. In the video, she can be seen saying, "All glam is gone, and I'm ready for my first chemo in the hospital. Let's get better."


Sharing the inspiring video on Instagram, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress wrote, "This award night, I knew about my cancer diagnosis, but I made a conscious choice to normalize it - not just for myself, but for all of us. This was the day that changed everything it marked the beginning of one of the most challenging phases of my life."

"So let's do some affirmations. We become what we believe in, and I have decided to take this challenge as an opportunity to reinvent myself. I have decided to keep the spirit of positivity as the first tool in my toolkit. I chose to normalize this experience for me and have consciously decided to manifest the desired outcome," she further added.

Adding more to the caption, Hina Khan wrote, "For me, my work commitments matter. For me, my motivation, passion, and art matter. I refuse to bow down. This award that I received right before my first chemotherapy was not my motivation alone in fact, I attended this event to reassure myself that I am living up to the benchmark I have set for myself. Mind over matter."

Concluding the post, the Bigg Boss 11 star wrote, "I attended the event and went straight up to the hospital for my first chemo. I humbly urge everyone out there to first normalize the challenges of their lives, then set goals for themselves and try to live up to them all along the way. No matter how hard. Never back down. Never give up."
